MORRIS TOWNSHIP — About $1,100 money and valuables were stolen from a home, military said.
A Pine Tree Lane homeowner came home and found that his home had been burglarized around 6:37 p.m. Mar 21, military pronounced in a circular posted to a Morris Township department’s website.
The criminal entered a home by meddling open a back window that was low to a ground, military said. Once inside, a criminal ransacked bedrooms and grabbed a money and valuables from a bedroom dresser, military said.
The criminal “took their time inside, roughly each drawer was non-stop and emptied,” military pronounced in a bulletin.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit and K-9 Unit responded to support in a investigation, military said.
Around that same time, a Kennedy Road homeowner told military someone attempted to enter her home, military said. The proprietor told military one of a screens on her window as pushed adult about 6 inches and that a other shade has a puncture symbol in it, military said. Her residence wasn’t entered, however, according to police.
